Skraffino Microtopping
Eastside Garage Outfitters recommends Duraamen’s Skraffino Microtopping which is designed to create the look of a hand-applied, natural, polished concrete floor.
Param 5500 : Concrete Topping. Param 5500 can be installed indoors over concrete and certain non-porous surfaces like ceramic tile, to provide a hard, flat, smooth surface for warehouses, utility rooms, and light manufacturing.
Param 6000 : Polishable self-leveling concrete. Param 6000 is a Portland Cement based, high strength, fast setting, polishable self-leveling concrete that readily accepts integral colors and dyes. It is designed to be used as a wear surface and achieves a true polished concrete flooring. Param 6000 can be installed from 1/4” to 1.5” in a single application and up to 5” after blending with aggregates. It is ready for foot traffic within 3-4 hours of its installation.
Param 4500 : Underlayment for various floor coverings including stone, tile, carpet, and wood. Param 4500 is Portland cement-based, self-leveling concrete underlayment formulated to level and smooth interior concrete, terrazzo, ceramic and quarry tile, metal, wooden substrates, and non-water soluble adhesive residue on concrete prior to the installation of the finished flooring. It can be installed on, above, or below grade. Param 4500 provides a durable, flat, smooth floor surface with minimum labor and installation time. Param 4500 provides a substrate that can accept ceramic tile and natural stone within 3-4 hours after application. Finished floor coverings such as concrete micro-toppings/overlays, resinous flooring, carpet, VCT, sheet vinyl, rubber, and engineered wood plank can be installed after 24 hours.
